i dont know if you have ever been scuba diving but they use this liquid compound to keep ur goggles clear. i think it’s called sea eyes but i’m not sure.

I would keep WD40 away from the lenses of the Binoculars. Try those armor-all wipes, the “Original Protectant” ones not the cleaner or any of the other hundreds of variations they sell. You can also try to contact the manufacturer to see what they recommend. I`d go with the armor all. If you had to go with the WD40 I`d spray it onto a rag then rub it in, keeping it away from the lens.

I would go to the auto store and buy the silicon spray they use on belts Armor-all is a second choice it will look better but not restore the coating
